In hopes to help others avoid the pain...
Don't join the docens of frustrated people that have dealt with these OEM kings, read the guides about this seller.
I bought a "NEW UNLOCK MOTOROLA V3 GOLD RAZR RAZOR GSM PHONE + BT". First shipment got a defective phone, a dead battery and a dead Blue tooth. Had to pay for return shipment (they won't, even if their fault). Second shipment i got the wrong color and another dead blue tooth. Paid for 2nd return shipment and posted negative feedback. They take average 2-3 days to respond emails and never agreed to talk on the phone, until i posted the feedback. They will not refund my money now unless I remove it (that's coercion!!). Oh and they posted retaliatory negative feedback on my account. I have never seen someone lacking this much customer service and business integrity.
Now the sadest thing of all is that eBay seems to support these abusive behaviors from sellers. I have made them aware and no action so far....
Nov 27, 2008: posting how the story ended and sharing my learnings.
My emails to eBay CEO Meg Whitman were responded, but they claimed ebay could not "intervene"in the feedback system. A few months later, ebay changed the system and now sellers can't leave negative feedback to buyers. Good! As the money goes, the thieves at OEMkings never gave me my refund, nor removed the negative feedback, as I refused to remove mine. I was able to get it back from my credit card copmany, after I missed the deadline to claim with ebay and with paypal.
Learnings:
1) Always look at the number (not just the %) of negative feedbacks a seller received and read it.
2) know the period ebay and paypal cover your transaction, it is not very long.
3) fund your paypal payment with a credit card, it gives you another layer of protection, after ebay/paypal (same company) fail you.
Don't forget to post your guides denouncing unscrupulous sellers, to help other buyers. Good Luck.
