Beginner Program - Goal 20 minutes Aerobic Program 3 days a week ~ AND ~ 30 minutes Strength Training 2 days a week
- If you've never exercised before or if it's been at least 6 months since you've exercised or had any sort of structured fitness plan, this is the perfect place to start.
Intermediate Program - Goal 25 minute Aerobic Program 3 days a week ~ AND ~ 20 minute Strength Training 2 days a week
- You're on this level if you're in good health and already have a regular walking or aerobic exercise program.
Advanced Program - Goal 30 minute Aerobic Program 3 days a week ~ AND ~ 20 minute Strength Training 2 days a week
- This program integrates a more rigorous training program. If either of the above programs has become easy for you, it's time to progress to these exercises.

Walking provides aerobic activity that exercises whole muscle groups over an extended period of time. Aerobics uses oxygen to break down carbohydrates, fat and protein to provide energy, making it important in weight loss. Aerobics also increases the heart rate and strengthens the heart muscle.
Strength training helps your weight loss.
Strength training provides anaerobic activity. Anaerobic activity provides short bursts of energy and does not require oxygen. Anaerobic activity strengthens the muscle by increases the size and density. This aids in weight management since increased muscle density will help burn more calories even while resting.
