The Nuby 10 oz Sippy Cup Replacement Spouts are all the rage right now.  Customers all over the world have been waiting in anticipation for them to be released and now they are finally available to the public.

The 10 oz Nuby sippy cups (those bright colored cups you see in baby's and toddler's hands just about everywhere) are manufactured by a company called Luv n Care and are among some of the most popular sippy cups on the market today.  Their trademark is the fact that they are no spill and no leak if used in a proper manner and cleaned as directed.

However, as your baby grows into a toddler and starts to get teeth, their favorite Nuby sippy cup spout becomes their new favorite chewing toy!  The soft silicone spouts are perfect targets for baby's developing teeth and they apparently feel great as sore teeth grind against the softer spouts.

This presents a bit of a dilemma as toddler teeth begin to grind away at the spouts and the tiny holes where the liquid becomes dispensed start to get a bit larger.  Then some of the cups may start to leak.

The cups are sturdy and can outlast even your toddler, however, the spouts can only take so much abuse.  That's where the Nuby 10 oz sippy cup replacement spout comes in.  They work great and you can buy bunches of them for a bargain on Ebay.  They are very hard to find in the stores.  Walmart carries sporadic amounts and choices of Nuby products and so does Target from time to time and even Burlington Coat Factory, but it is rare to see the replacement spouts if at all.

If you buy a dozen you can check your toddler's cup more often and not have to deal with any messy leaks.  Just make sure when you replace the spouts that you put them on the right way.  You will see grooves on each side of the spout and those will line up with little plastic nubs on the plastic rim that the spouts fit into.  Just put the grooves and the nubs together and test your cup before giving it to your little one.

Just fill it part way with water over the sink and shake, shake, shake every which way.  It should NOT leak.  If it does, refit the new spout again and again until you get it right.  It's not difficult to do and it will save you lots of clean up as you chase your toddler through the house.
