For more than 15 years, the Nubian Heritage Company, based in New York, has been producing a top-quality line of shea butter-based products called SheaMoisture.  The SheaMoisture Company grew out of a legacy of gathering and trading shea butter and other harvests in the Sierra Leonean Bonthe village market that dates back to 1916.  The Company itself is apioneer in incorporating shea butter into beauty care products that are readily available.
