If you have seen the latest and hottest movie "Mission Impossible III" or "MI-III", you would notice the handy notebook with a sleek body.  It is not movie magic, the notebook does really exist.  And this notebook is really being used by polices and fire departments throughout the United States.  If you look around, you will find that the manufactory of the notebook is a company named "Getac" in California.  (getac.com)

If you look closer, you will find that these Getac notebooks were built with most of us mobile users in mind.  The LCD is coverd by a protection glass, the splash-proof keyboard, the metal housing, fanless design ... All these are contributed to make their notebook more "Rugged".  If you are a traveller like me, you will know the real world environment does not give your regular off-the-shelves notebook computers any slacks, and I have learnt it the hard way ... twice ... having coffee in my notebooks.
