I wanted to write a nasty letter,

but I thought twice and I thought better

instead to let you see for yourself

that mask you bought sitting on your shelf,

is a FAKE !

The Indonesians carve so well

that I know for you it's hard to tell

a genuine mask from one that is bad,

and sadly a lot of you will get had,

when buying a carving you didn't know enough about !

So here's some pics that you should see.

Please look at them most carefully

and remember here what you have seen

so it'll be harder for these fakes to come between,

you and your hard earned money !!!

While I'm at it I'll just add

That these fakes really bug me , and not cuz they're bad.

They take away buiness from legitimate dealers and artists

Trying to make an honest living, and that's what's hardest.

Remember the old saying "you get what you pay for" ?

Well , not if you buy a $16 carving for $225.00 !!!!

What you get is , taken to the cleaners.

And they're lined up out there just waiting for you  !!!
