I would like to extend to everybody my offer of knowledge I have accumulated for 20+ years of collecting and researching North Korean Banknotes and their graphics and pictures meanings.
I have learned that all North Korean Banknotes issued since the 1947 series contain a lot of propaganda meaning on them.
I have obtained a very special book for my collection. It is titled "Introduction To Currency," printed in Pyeongyang, Democratic People's Republic of Korea. I feel very fortunate indeed to have received this book.
It is written in the English language, along with Korean and Chinese language. Although in English, the true North Korean propaganda mindset comes through when describing the graphics on North Korean Banknotes issued from 1947, up to 1992.
Of interest - the North Korean Government completely ignores the North Korean Banknotes issued by the Russian Government in 1945, numbered Pick #1 thru #4.
Of a very "key" propaganda interest is the North Korean Banknote numbered Pick #22 - the 100 Won Banknote issued 1978.
This Banknote proved (to me) to be a key Banknote to assist with deciphering the propaganda meanings I have learned over the years.
Also, of special interest, the 5 variations of reverse sides for the Banknotes issued also during 1978; the original-issue "plain" reverse, then the green square seal, the red square seal, then you have the blue Guilloche and the red Guilloche. All of these have more meaning when deciphered.
I am extending my offer that should anybody desire to learn what the propaganda meanings are for the various North Korean Banknotes, please send me an E-Mail with the Banknote in question (Pick number also, if known), your question or questions, then give me a couple days to respond to your question.
