I have used over 26 phones/PDA's in the past 2 years (Apple, Palm, WinMo, etc.) and I have to say that I am most pleased with the Nokia n97. It is by far one of the best devices I have ever used. A few cool features of the device include: An adjustable home screen. Nokia allows you to add and remove widgets on the home screen to better fit your life style and how you use the device on a daily basis. A pretty responsive resisitive touchscreen. I have used many resisitive touchscreen devices such as: 8125, 8525, TyTnII, Touch Pro, etc. The touch response is quite accurate and pretty smooth when transitioning to a different touch selection. This device is also finger friendly and easy to select each icon or menu. Despite having a slower processor than say the Touch Pro (528MHz) to the n97 (434MHz) the phone runs quite fast with very little lag compared to most WinMo devices I have used in the past. The camera is great!! 32GB on board storage is a huge plus and it also can be expanded with a memory card.

One downside to the device, is like most Nseries phones, it still has a plasticy feel to it. For $600 plus you would expect to have a more metal, solid feel, but it does make up for it in other ways.

The keypad is nice, I would perfer a 4x3 number pad since that's what I'm used to and the spacebar is in a weird spot, but other than that with a little practice, it's easy to get the hang of. There may be a learning curve for some since S60 can be confusing or a little different than some other OS's, but if your like myself that has used several nokia devices in the past, not all that much has changed.

Overall, I would recommend this device, as well as pretty much any Nokia Nseries device, to anyone and everyone. There are a lot of cool features, too many to mention. The device fits great in your hand and you'll look good using it too. People will stop and ask when they see your phone, "What's that?"

There is a reason Nokia continues to be the world leader in the cell phone industry. They continue to make great products and really understand the meaning of what it is to have an 'all-in-one' device that can practically do everything to meet consumers needs for the demanding and fast paced world we live in today.

Thanks for reading!
