Digital cameras are great... but when you migrate systems, the question arises- "what the heck did we do with that driver disk?" So you do what everyone does.
You sell your old driverless camera on ebay for a song, get a new one on ebay for a little more that does way too much, and after awhile you get used to your new camera, but all the while you think to yourself- "i liked the old one better."
Here's what you do. Go to Google. If your camera says Canon, Hewlett Packard or Epson, you are in luck.Even if it says Oregon Scientific or another obscure name, you are still in good shape. Search Google by company, and you will be pleasantly surprised.
The above listed companies offer outstanding driver support for their products. Find the Support> Download section in any of them, and you will probably find your drivers, even going nack to Windows 95 and Macintosh OS 7.5.
If you want a new digital camera anyway, go ahead and get one, but its always nice to have the old beater around when you go camping or rock climbing. If it falls, you got your moneys worth, and you still got your new high speed camera in good shape.
In this day and age, not having drivers is no excuse, especially when there are so many resources out there.
