Whether you are a seller or a buyer, the most important part of Ebay is communications.
As a seller, I always make sure I get in touch with each and every person who wins an auction from me. I let them know when their auction has been shipped, by what method and ask if they would let me know when they received it. This way the person, or persons, knows I am here for them should they have any questions.
As a buyer, I want to know when my item has been shipped. I always appreciate when a seller sends me a note saying they have shipped my item. I don't like to be kept guessing, I want to know.
Communications is the key to success on Ebay. How else would we know what was going on?
If you have come across a situation where the buyer or seller does not get in touch with you, what do you do? Where do you turn for answers or help? On the left hand side of your "My Ebay" page is a link titled Dispute Console. This link will allow you to report an auction where there is no contact from the other person. You can report an unpaid item or an item not received. There are easy to follow instructions that will start you on the way to a resolution to your dilemma.
So remember, COMMUNICATIONS are very important, however, when the other person is not cooperating, there is the Dispute Console link.
