Why is Ebay still not allowing sellers in the "Adults Only" Category to accept PayPal for payment? PayPal doesn't mind. Oh, they used to have rules against using PayPal anywhere for sexually oriented items. But those rules have recently changed!
If you have ProStore, you can accept PayPal for Adult Items. Heck, if you have a website anywhere on the net, you can take PayPal for anything but: Certain subject matter, such as child pornography, rape, beastiality, and incest are not allowed in any form physical or tangible. The bold print there was copied and pasted from an email PayPal sent me! I have forwarded that email to the good folks at Ebay, but nothing back from them yet.
It's kinda funny...
PayPal and ProStores are BOTH Ebay companies. What are the rules different then, from site to site?
And while I've got you......
How about the idea of allowing sellers of Adult Only items to list under "Fixed Price" format? And why not allow us to add a "Buy It Now" option to our auctions?
Just imagine the increase in Ebay's Final Value Fee income, if we were allowed to list, say, 10 vibrators or DVDs in the same 35 cent listing, and have that listing stay up for a month! How many items could we sell from a single listing? Who knows?
Everybody know that SEX SELLS! Even when you can't afford to pay the rent, there are three things that will always be purchased by a very large segment of the population. Namely, alcohol, cigarettes, and porn.
Just a thought.

HEY!! HEY!!
Ebay is now going to ALLOW the things I mentioned above. Well, whaddya know? Store Format & PayPal for Adult Only items? 'Bout time. Been able to pay for that stuff with PayPal on any other website but Ebay for a long time.
Is this evidence of Ebay trying to make nice with sellers by making their lives a little easier, or did they finally figure out how much money they were missing out on over uncollected fees? I imagine the latter, but either way, kudos to Ebay! The first wise decision by the powers that be I've seen lately.
