Its a scam! When we saw it we were sure it was a misprint so we contacted the seller via email. "She " responded by telling us that it was her son's who just died in Iraq and she wanted to get it out of her garage because she couldn't bare to look at it anymore. I thought it was a little creepy and still too good to be true, but I continued with the transaction. On the auction you had to be pre-approved to bid or buy, so I emailed her asking to be put on the pre-approved list. Right away I received an email supposedly  the eBay buyer protection with directions on how to complete the transaction. I was instucted to send $2900.00 thru Western Union to a 3rd party named John Thomas, who is the eBay agent assigned to our transaction. Now I realize something is wrong. EBay says to never use Western Union when you are sending money to a stranger, so why would they promote it as the only form of payment. Next, the email they sent to me had 2 misspellings in it, real professional. It also said that if you have any questions feel free to reply to this email.( since when?). So , now I'm curious. I call information to find a residential listing for the seller and this 3rd party guy, guess what? no listing! Still further I go. I go back to the pictures this time I notice palm trees in the background, but yet the vehicle location is in upstate New York. While I'm playing detective, I receieve an email from the seller stating that they are going to be scheduling shipment in a few hours and will email me with details. Shipper- DtDShippers.com which are listed under fraudulent websites. (This is the cherry on the sundae!) I probaly should have realized at first when they were not contacting me thru eBay, but by my personal email address on eBay. Plus the fact that it was the deal of a lifetime. Yet, I have purchased many things on eBay and good deals can happen. I purchased a boat for 7,500.00 and sold it for 18,000.00. So I would like to believe that majority of our eBay community are very good people and handle their business transactions with integrity, and for the small few that think they will get rich by scamming hard-working people allow this pleasure of thinking they got one over. I would love to see the look on "John Thomas's" face when he goes to western union with his fake MTCN # trying to pick up my money. I guess the scam will be on him. I hope he gets run over by a car on the way home.
