I will create a guide per my experience with concentration problems or shy children that lacks confidence in himself.

Sometimes in the past i was asked to past a week end with a child that i knew, usually the child was shy and did not have faith in himself no confidence. A lot of parents does not like games, because the only thing they saw in the nin. or PS. was violence.

but let take a child with difficulty concentrating. One game i like to play with a child like that, is "ROLLER BLADE." NES game. the controllers are small, this is a must, because a child that lack confidence will want to feel he is in control.  Now do not let the child do what ever he wants with the control, this is a game that demand great concentration as much per your part as per the child. As the child progress in the game you can see him change with in its action and reaction in his social life.  This is not a miracle and a child will progress in his own pace. by the age of 8 or 9 years old he will have a better control on himself and towards others, and in sports.

A child that is shy.  there is a game on nin 64. "the master sword" the story of the game is a little boy that is very gentle and is ask to do extraordinary task by a fairy. the shy child will put himself as "link" again the child should be reminded of the fact that it is a game, to make realize that he is an individual outside of the game he is playing. but as he progress in the game you will see the different in it action, it will reflect on his social life. I prefer nin to PS. because PS. made games mostly for adult or late teens, some games should not be left to a child to play with out guidance, there little mind are to fragile for some violence in some of these games.

I hope with this guide i will help some little guys to grow up more secure within himself. And parents be gentle with your little ones. Whom am i to say!!!
