**Note - I sell Wii's aswell, so any seller that reads this, PLEASE dont get mad at us, this is simply for anyone that has a Wii & if it messes up like the one we kept, on how to get a free replacement**

We have sold Wii's & also PS3's. We kept a Wii to play & on the 21'st we went to play it again & the screen stayed black. I figured maybe the rca cable's werent right, so I re-hooked them, same thing. Then I tried a different output, same black screen even though the Wii's power was lit up. I tried one more time on a different tv then called Nintendo Of America & explained. They sent us a replacement, just the white console nothing else (we did have to send back the orignal) on Dec 8th, the sme thing happened. they again sent us a replacment.
Now this is not to SCARE anyone, they said it is not a major issue, that maybe we got a "bad" first batch. If this happens to you, here is what to do & that way it wont spoil your christmas.
1. If the screen stays blank or black with the nintendo wii power lit up & you have played it & it did work the first time or first few times, than re-try the rca cables, then try them on a different rca jack. If still the same, you might have a problem.
2. Make sure you keep your box - On the box it has a number to call & in your instructions you can register your serial # online to make this easier.
3. Call the number which is the number to Nintendo Of America in Wa.
4. Tell the rep what is going on, he or she will ask you to hook it up a time or to more, then offer you the replacement.
5. they will ship it UPS Blue (Which is 2nd day shipping) all they ship is the console & a return box for your old console - you keep all the wires, controllers, your wii sports game etc..
6. you will need a credit card so they know your not scamming, they will bill you nothing, all you do is take the replacement, hook it up, make sure it works & add the old one in the box they sent. It has free return shipping.
7. just drop it off at any ups drop off place - some examples - wrap, pack & mail - the ups store - ups - etc..
8. They will email you when it arrives to them & your account will never be touched..
This is just for anyone that may be having trouble or might have it come christmas & dont want your christmas to ruin.
I hope this can help anyone that may have bought one, because I know from experiance, that we cant be the only one's having this problem if they were so quick to ship a new one.
