Get a Star by your Nickname
Want to prove to everyone that you are a star? You can get a star next to your player name, proving just how good you are. Here’s how:
If you want to get a single star next to your name, get a one star rating in every single race! If you want to get two stars, get a two star rating in every race! And, if you want three stars, that’s right, get a three star rating in every race. It’s not as simple as it sounds!
Karts and Bikes in all Modes
You all know that, in each setting, that karts are for 50cc mode, bikes are for 100cc mode, and both go in 150cc mode. But, if you want to have everything available for those first two modes, all you have to do is place at least third in every race of that cup! Place at least third in all races of 50cc mode, and you get to use bikes as well! And place at least third in all races of 100cc mode, you can use karts in those races!
Golden Wheel
If you want a golden wheel next to your name during matches, all you’ve got to do is use the Wii Wheel in a majority of your races!
Boost during Recovery!
If you’ve fallen off the side of the road, when you are being brought back up, hit the accelerate button the moment you hit the ground and you can get a small boost!
Boost before the Race!
If you want a little extra speed at the start of your race, as soon as the 2 in the countdown starts to disappear, begin to accelerate. You will get a good boost of speed right at the start! Remember, the 2 still needs to be visible, but it has to be disappearing.
Change Mii Character’s Weight Class
If you are using a Mii as a character, and you want to change their weight class (which affects handling), simply go to the Mii menu on your Wii and change the weight of the Mii itself!
