IF THIS GUIDE IS HELPFUL TO YOU PLEASE GIVE ME A YES VOTE AT THE END OF THE GUIDE.THANK YOU

The purpose of this guide is to help people who are looking to purchase a Nintendo NES System,A Super Nintendo SNES System,or a Nintendo 64 system or games. The first system I will cover is the Nintendo NES front loading system. When purchasing one of these systems you should look for one which has a new 72 pin connector installed because after 20 years the connector will be weak and dirty and if not replaced it will surely fail in a short amount of time. This will cause the system to blink and not work properly. Also the games you buy for this system should have the game contacts properly cleaned by opening the games and cleaning the dirt and corrosion off of the contacts.Cleaning the contacts with alcohol only does not properly clean them. You can purchase the tool to open your games on e-bay and clean the contacts on your games.I open the games and use a very fine scotchbrite pad to remove the dirt and corrosion and it does not remove any of the metal of the contacts.Dirty game contacts are also one of the main reasons these system blink or you have to insert and remove a game from the console several times before it works properly. If you buy a NES with a new 72 pin connector and you are going to play games on it that you already own the games should be properly cleaned before you use them or you will ruin the new connector. Also the games should be gently installed and removed from the system until the new connector is broken in.You can avoid the 72 pin connector problems if you can find and purchase one of the rare Top Loader NES Systems.

Next I will cover the Super Nintendo System SNES.First off these came new from Nintendo in many colors which are a Light Purple color,an Off Yellow color,or a combination of both colors.I see alot of sellers who try to say the off yellow ones are that color because of age or not being stored properly but that is not true they came from Nintendo that way. There is not alot that goes wrong with these systems but when you purchase one you should get one which has had the game contacts properly cleaned by opening the cartridge and cleaning the dirt and corrosion off of the contacts.Cleaning the game contacts with alcohol only does not properly clean them. You can buy the tool on e-bay to open the games and I use a very fine scotchbrite pad to clean the dirt and corrosion from the contacts and it does not remove any of the metal from the contacts. These systems are also available in a Rare Mini System.

Next is the Nintendo 64 System. These were the last of the Cartridge systems and were the most powerful cartridge system. When buying one of these you want to watch that the seller mentions that the controller thumbsticks are tight and not worn out. This is getting harder to find because the Thumbsticks are no longer available as new replacement parts like they once were. This is one system where buying aftermarket controllers might be a good idea because the thumbsticks do not wear out as fast in them. Also you will want the game contacts to be properly cleaned by opening the cartridge and cleaning the dirt and corrosion off of the contacts.Cleaning the contacts with alcohol only does not properly clean them. You can buy the tool on e-bay to open the cartridges and I use very fine scotchbrite pad to remove the dirt and corrosion and it does not hurt the metal contacts.A Nintendo 64 is an excellent choice for smaller kids and special needs people because it has excellent graphics and uses a game cartridge instead of a Game CD Or Dvd like the Playstation,Gamecube,or Xbox.Nothing is more disappointing than having a $60.00 game ruined from scratches because the little one didn`t realize you can`t use them for frizbees.

The most important thing is do not buy a game system that has not been cleaned or tested.I see it all the time in auctions where it states the system worked the last time I used it 5 years ago. This is just asking for trouble because the system will probably fail in a short time. This is most important when buying the front loading Nintendo NES because 9 times out of 10 they will not work and will blink without the 72 pin connector being replaced.

All the game systems I sell are cleaned and tested and in the case of the Nintendo NES the 72 pin connector is replaced.

IF THIS GUIDE HAS BEEN USEFUL TO YOU PLEASE GIVE ME A YES VOTE.THANK YOU
