Introduction:
Here it is! The series that started the realistic like Final Fantasy series! I think the new ones are over rated, but who knows people who visit this site would probably like the new Final Fantasies! I like the Graphics of the new ones though.
Story:
Four Light Warriors (you can choose who you want in the beginning), go on a quest to save the world from darkness. By making the "Orbs" shine again. If it doesn't make sense, don't blame me! Blame Squaresoft!
Gameplay:
You can pick: Fighter, (eventually called Frionell in FF2), Black Mage, Black Belt, Red Mage, Thief, or White Mage. Unfortunately, I heard there's a part in the game, where these other guys come in, I think that sucks people! It's an RPG game.
I give the gameplay: 8/10
Graphics:
Well I mentioned "Realistic like" game series, but this is the 8-bit days not the new aged days, they didn't have the "technology" to make realistic like graphics. I like the graphics, it's good for the NES! So enjoy the cool 8-bit sprites and graphics.
I give the graphics: 10/10
Sound:
Good as The Legend of Zelda music! Especially the Story/Main Menu music.
I give the sound: 10/10
Replayability:
Oh man! Cool! I can play this again and again! If I went somewhere, I would be thinking about getting home and playing Final Fantasy.
I give the replayability: 8/10
Challenge:
Nothing serious to say about the challenge.
I give the challenge: 1/10
Frustration:
Nothing, except when your guys are getting killed in the role-playing battle. You would probably scream: BASTARD! And if you don't have enough gold to revive one of your Light Warriors.
I give the frustration: 9/10
Value:
Good. It has a saving process, all you do is go to the Inn., and take a rest, the press: Reset, and Power. But it doesn't give you enough space to complete your characters names, (I just try to abbreviate them.)
I give the value: 9/10
Before you quest:
You have to save the Princess Sara from the evil knight: Garland. First you need to talk to the King in the Castle, then head out and kick the crap out of Garland! And you also need to choose your weapons at a weapon shop.
I give the before you quest: 10/10
Overall:
Excellent! Good job Squaresoft! Best game, just like there Chrono Trigger series, (I don't own Chrono Trigger but I heard great things about it.)
I give Final Fantasy: 10/10
Conclusion:
If you like RPGs, get it! If you like NES games like I do, get it! But if you don't like RPGs, this isn't a game for you. I love Final Fantasy NES & SNES games!
