This is more of a guide than a review due to the fact that I'm seeing alot of people hiking the prices of the Gamecube component video cables because they're "rare". These are excellent pieces of equipment that allow you to play nearly all your Gamecube games in progressive scan (on a progressive scan television), but they are hardly rare. If you want to get a better deal on the name brand cable right now (as of February 2006), goto Nintendo's site and browse through their hardware and cables section for the Gamecube. There you will find part #46496, a Gamecube component video cable for $29.95 + $5.00 shipping (first class mail). Saving you probably quite a bit of money (as I am writing this guide I'm seeing prices for the cables in the $50 range). Hope this helps all you peoples looking for this "rare" item.
