Nike Yoga Mescolisi - Nike's New Yoga Shoe - The Mescolisi

I knew Yoga was popular... even tried it once or twice. It didn't work that well. But maybe thats because I was outfitted in Nike's New Yoga Shoe - the Nike Yoga Mescolisi.

The Nike Mescolisi looks like a hybrid between the Nike Free and a piece of bark. That said, its obviously light, made to slip on & off, provides flexibilty and is breathable. From Nike:

"Put a little soul in your sole with this stretchy yoga shoe, made for good grip on studio floors." This makes perfect sense...

According to Nike, the Mescolisi grip comes from the Yoga-inspired design on the shoe's bottoms: "Placed pods on the sole give good grip on slippery floors and allow full foot articulation."
