Nike Air Max 2004 - Nike Air Max 2004 Review (9.5/10)

Most Nike and Sneaker fanatics agree, that in the Nike Air Max collection, the Nike Air Max 95s and Nike Air Max 97s are the two greatest running shoes produced by Nike...

But Nike expanded their Nike Air Max line with the release of the Nike Air Max 2004 - which is a hybrid of its preceeding Air Max shoes. At first blush, the Air Max 2004 has the same sole as the Nike Air Max 97 (with the air bubble that runs across the side panels and reflects the shoe's body color). The body is unique with its mesh paneling - giving for a super-light sneaker that is quite stable and comfortable despite the lack of heft.

Also unique to the Nike Air Max 2004 is the plastic and reflective sole piece and toe panel.

I was pleasantly surprised when Nike released the Air Max 2003 and 2004s - rather than simply adding new colorways to the Air Max 95s and Air Max 97s. The result are two more instant-classic sneakers that are MUST HAVE additions to any sneaker collection.
