Nike Air Max 180 Classics - Go Retro with Nike Air Max 180
As Nike goes on their self-proclaimed "Nike Air Max Celebration" (which culminates with the Nike Air Max 360 Launch
on January 30th), Nike has also made past versions of Air Max
series available. One of the classic versions is the retro Nike Air Max
180 Classic in red, white and blue. The Nike Air Max 180s are classics
with the red sole outline covering the Nike Air pocket. The tounge
gives the sneaker an Air Huarche feel to it as well.
Air Max 180 Classic specifics from Nike marketing: "What began as some
serious car trunk retail has evolved into the brand's first global
launch. Air takes its first steps outside the midsole, while Tinker
quiets the design, chooses a palette with worldwide appeal and extends
the tongue to create a billboard for the avant 180 logo. Dave Scott
runs through the streets amid a chorus of projected superstars in what
most Beavertonians call the best Swoosh spot ever."
According to Nike, Nike Air Max technology provides "Maximum impact cushioning. The
brutal, repetitive, downward force of sport can wreak havoc on the body
- and on performance. Max Air cushioning is specifically engineered to
handle these impacts and provide protection. Max Air is big air
designed to take a pounding."
