I reciently listed a digital minidv video camara on here, and it was purchased by using the buy it now option.  I thought great its sold, but wait...... not so easy.  The buyer's are registered users in ebay with  United States address's.  These buyers with have a 0 feedback score.  Here are some examples of the emails the buyers send to you after they use the buy it now option:

Regarding this issue:

The buyer will send you a fake paypal invoice showing that the item has been paid for.  Check your paypal account, you will see the funds are not there.  DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMISTANCES SEND YOUR ITEM UNTIL YOU HAVE THE MONEY IN YOUR HAND!!!  After talking with a paypal rep she notified me that people are also stealing creditcard numbers and using them to pay through paypal.  Once the authorized card owner realizes the card has been comprimised they cancel it, and visa, mastercard, amex ect will come after you.  They will take the funds back out of paypal.  So you have shipped your item overseas (which cannot be reversed, after it leaves the U.S.), and you have no payment.
