The eBay store is a great way to showcase many items on ebay for a lesser price. If you are new to eBay stores and have had any luck on eBay prior to this I can assure you that you will be pleasently suprised if you use some of these tips.
1. Don't stop listing items in auction style
Auction items will still be your main stream of new viewers to you store listings. This is a fact, and eBay says the same they suggest you still leave auction items listed as bait to draw new customers to your store. This is a must unless you are spending money on ebay keywords.
2. Fill out at Least 10-20 Catagories If Possible
This will help in a multitude of ways but the most obvious is the meta tags that eBay will automatically create for each catagory title. These go to google and are searchable from eBay as well. So This is a Powerfull way to draw attention once you add items to these catagories.
3. Put all your items in your store catagories
This is just another keyword relevency trick that is a good practice to follow but is also easy to overlook in your new listings.
4. Mix up your Listing/Ending Times
Just test one of you hottest sellers at some different ending time, it may not change your sales much but it may be a jackpot! It's cheap enough just for a test, right!
5. Add you store header to all listings
This can be done from the "Manage My Store" link on the left of your ebay screen. This lets you make a custom header that will apear on all of your listings with links back to you store and its pages. This is great if you have other similar items at the store.
6. Start with the smalles level of store
It is a free trial don't jump in to the expensive packages until you know that you will be able to rationalize it by your ebay profits. This is the main reason for most businesses on ebay ending, people spend to much to sell what you can sell for lot cheaper if they sell smarter. Smarter is always better.
