I have been around guitars and know what fine materials it takes to build a fine instrument. However, to the "new player" who is about to discover the great joy of guitar playing and buying their first real "beauty", please do your homework before you purchase a miserable piece of junk. Take for instance you are surfing the web to find the right deal and you come across a Chinese company called "Bazaar of China". Listed on this site are some pretty bitchin' guitars for a couple hundred dollars. Don't forget the $100.00 shipping fee. Advertised are such great name guitars as "Gibson/ Epiphone". Can you really get a brand spanking new "Gibson Les Paul " for $300.00?! As a guitar nut I say to myself; "I think not"! But to the kid that doesn't know any better it sounds like a steal. Don't let these crooks take advantage of us!! And shame on the ones that do buy these in bulk and turn around and sell them as the real deal here in the U.S.A. I did e-mail the company and asked them why they call their guitars "electricity guitars". They e-mailed me back saying that they can be plugged into an electric wall outlet!! Is that funny????!!! At least I can go to bed a night knowing that my guitars are the real deal!! Stay vigilant!!
