The USPS now uses black, numbered stickers for items insured $200 and below. (The former method got you a small green receipt and package was stamped insured.)  With the new numbered label, it is much easier for the postal service to track your mailpiece. Items insured for $200.01 and up will still get the numbered blue forms attached to the package.
