DVDs from Ray Hunt, Buck Brannaman, Clinton Anderson, Pat Parelli, Monty Roberts, Pete Ramey, John Lyons and Craig Cameron are NOT previous rentals...because you can't rent them from Blockbuster!  Same goes with Peter Campbell, Bryan Neubert, Jim Neubert, Joe Wolter, Larry Trocha, Frank Bell, Richard Shrake, Bob Avila, Monty Roberts, Tom Dorrance, Morgan Rhoads, Charles Wilhelm, Marv Walker and the rest....

Ever wonder where someone gets lots of duplicate copies of the same used horse training videos?  Some auctions list them as new...but "opened and tested" to make sure they all play.  Some may be from really expensive sets but are "DVDs ONLY"

Ever wonder why most of these auctions are PRIVATE ?

Ever notice the same sellers re-listing the same USED set, over and over and over....

I'm tired of getting a "great deal" on DVDs, waiting paitently for my prized eBay wins to arrive, only to receive them and discover that they WON'T PLAY ON MY OLD DVD PLAYER because they are DVRs and my player can't read DVRs.

Please Note:  Regular DVDs play just fine in my player.  It is a VCR/DVD combo and I am really happy with it.  I don't feel that I should have to get a new DVD player to play bootleg DVRs no matter how good they look!

NEW, SEALED DVDs do not have to be opened and tested to make sure they work.
Authentic DVDs come with their original boxes and paper inserts if the manufacturer created one.

Please note:  There are legit sellers that may be missing boxes, inserts, etc, but look at their current listings, previous listings for the past 30 days, and their feedback.  If they have re-sold the same USED set at auction several times, buyer beware!

When you receive your item, take a minute to LOOK at the DVDs and MAKE SURE they are not home made DVR copies.  There are printers that can print direclty on the disks, so a paper label is not the only telltale sign that you have been fleeced (taken to the cleaners, duped, taken, screwed, etc).  For example, Verbatium usually prints the DVR info in the inner ring of the DVD in white letters.  Can't miss it!

If you question the authenticity of the DVDs, call the trainer's company directly and ASK what an authentic copy should look like.  Are the REAL ones REALLY purple?  Is the cover art really supposed to be blurry or unreadable? Believe me, there are some companies that really take the time to determine if what you are holding is real...and in some cases will TRADE you for an authentic set so they can go to court with evidence and prosecute!

Some clinicians do their own copying, and sell DVRs.  However, these folks are familiar with the DVRs that they use, and will take the time to check the DVR manufacturer code to see if it is the same as what they sell.

I have only seen silver DVDs from Bryan Neubert, Clinton Anderson, Ray Hunt, John Lyons and Pat Parelli.  This includes the monthly club DVDs as well.

I am aware of one horseman that distributes his video on a USB Thumb Drive.  That is Endospink and he has a USB Drive with his TAP method on it.

From my experience RodeoVideo uses DVRs...but always CALL or EMAIL the company if you question the authenticity of your auction item.

If you have been taken, file a claim with Paypal and report the item to eBay.  If you don't say anything, you are just as GUILTY as the bootlegger.  A refund is not acceptable if you have to return the illegal items to the seller...as they will just resell them again.  Drug dealers don't get their drugs back! 

Folks, bootleg DVDs can mean JAIL TIME for the creators of these fine gems. Oh, also a $250,000 fine PER item, as if JAIL wasn't enough!  It is not cute or funny or a creative release of energy...it is FRAUD.  FEDERAL fraud!
