I have shopped with alot and learned alot from many.

Soaps are a great way to get started into buying handmade. Commercial soaps are designed specifically to dry out your skin and made in bulk with detergents( uh huh) to cleanse the fastest and cheapest. For anyone with a skin disorder or eczema this is a great way to suffer, but with handmade soaps with natural ingredients many people see improvements in chronic skin conditions. Not to mention the scents available, and the smooth, soft, silky lather.  Your skin?? Oh yes soft and touchable with no lotion or moisturizer required! You can buy a bar of soap scented in almost anything when buying it handmade. Or looking to stockpile?? Many sell in loaf form too!
