I recently purchased a "nano" type mp3/mp4 player for my daughter and I just wanted to let others know a few things BEFORE you buy one.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with the item I purchased. It was exactly as advertised and I have not qualms whatsoever concerning the seller. But what buyers need to know is that these things ARE NOT easy to operate and the "wheel" is not touch sensitive like a true Ipod.
True, you don't have to have iTunes to download you music BUT if you are trying to download music from sites such as LimeWire you cannot just "drag and drop" like is says on the packaging or in any of the advertisments for this player. You must right click on the song you wish to download and "download as" then save it to your player like you are saving a file to a thumbdrive. It's a real pain.
Yes, you can view videos on the player ONLY if you know how to use the software that you have to CHANGE TO FORMAT of anything to AMV not the standard AVI or MPG.
You also cannot listen to music while you play games on it either. The only upside that is that you can listen to your local radio stations on it with pretty good sound quality.
So Yes, it is a really good bargain but I don't think it's actually a good buy compared to a real Ipod Nano.
