So it seems many of the games at Shea Stadium are sold out for the Mets!
this is their final year at Shea. So you say to yourself I think I will take in a game BUT you discover that there is not a ticket to be had anywhere EXCEPT of course for EBAY where you can buy anything.
So here is my buying advice:
Beware of people selling back row tickets for crazy prices. You will sit down in your loge Row k and realize you can't see the Diamond Vision or the scoreboard. But you have a very nice view of the Mezzanine floor above you.
People are writing in their auctions premium seats for Upper Reserved seats in the rafters. Get real! the only premium is the price. You will be able to see the Mets as tiny little men.
though it is my opinion that you are better off with a upper reserved seat where you can see the whole field instead of back row Mezzanine or Loge seats
also beware of pictures used on auctions from SEATDATA it shows the view from the FRONT of the section not the back row.
I am a huge Mets fan & it saddens me to see so many people selling tickets at crazy prices with obstructed views
do your homework all rows in Loge Reserved after Row J are obstructed by the Mezzanine overhang and all rows in Mezzanine Reserved after Row M are obstructed by the Upper Deck overhang. DON'T PAY TOP DOLLAR FOR THESE SEATS. Don't overpay to look at the bottom of the deck above you all night.
Lets go NY METS
PS before you buy any MLB baseball tickets for a stadium you are not familiar with CALL the stadium & ask if the view is obstructed.
