Tired of having your pictures and graphics from your listings ripped off by lazy sellers?
I just got this tip from an Ebay Blogger in Blogland and had to pass it along!
It's simple and works like a charm!
Just add this script at the top of the html in your listings.
<script language=JavaScript>
<!--
var message="";
///////////////////////////////////
function clickIE() {if (document.all) {(message);return false;}}
function clickNS(e) {if
(document.layers||(document.getElementById&&!document.all)) {
if (e.which==2||e.which==3) {(message);return false;}}}
if (document.layers)
{document.captureEvents(Event.MOUSEDOWN);document.onmousedown=clickNS;}
else{document.onmouseup=clickNS;document.oncontextmenu=clickIE;}
document.oncontextmenu=new Function("return false")
// -->
</script>
That's it!
Worked like a charm for me.
It will not protect you from a highly skilled picture thief but it will protect your pictures from the casual right click copier. There are watermark programs available for those who want the highest level of protection. Some even have free trials like The Watermark Factory.
I am not claiming any credit for this script just letting you know it WORKS!
Come join us in the Ebay Blogoshere and learn all sorts of great things!
