There are literally thousands of Nike Air Jordan's being sold at auction each and every week. Did you know that many sellers claim to sell authentic Jordan's often get shoes that are made in substandard unofficial factories? What does that mean? It means that when you buy fake shoes you are buying a shoe that does not feature the Nike Air Jordan air-sole technology. The Air-sole in fake Jordan's is significantly thinner then the Air-sole that provides such comfort in real Jordan's.
In addition to the air-sole which is not visible without destroying the show, there are also other things that you can look for to verify authenticity.
THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND WHEN PURCHASING AUTHENTIC AIR JORDAN'S
-
To make sure you are purchasing a 100 % authentic shoe you need to make sure that your seller has good if not perfect as well as established minimum 50 positive feedback.
-
Also, make sure that the pictures displayed in the listing display the eBay seller's id.
-
Check the box label, if the seller does not show this in the listing or will not send you a picture of the box label chances are they are selling fakes. If you are a Jordan collector and have many boxes to compare to the pictures in the listing, do it, save yourself some money and check it out.
-
Make sure the seller offers a good return policy, just in case
-
Ask the seller questions, if they don't respond, beware.
-
POWER SELLERS ARE GOLD, if your seller is a power seller that should ease a lot of your concern when shopping for authenticity, to earn and maintain Power Seller status, sellers are required to uphold eBay's policies and values, have a minimum feedback of 100, with 98 % or more of that being positive, in addition to having consistent monthly sales volume.
-
Check the sellers completed listings and check there selling price, if they are selling Jordan's that retail for $125-175 for dirt cheap then chances are they are fake.
