Here is a good example: Lets assume you wish to provide a service or product for BMW car owners. You type BMW in Google Search and find possibly millions of pages, which shows you how much competition there is in that niche. But if you look at a search for BMW used parts you might be on to something. That is one you might wish to consider as it would be easy to service that niche by offering a good 2-5 page information article to those looking for used BMW parts, and offer it as a freebie to help build your list of future, potential customers. So niche marketing would be the process of finding (which is the hard part unless you watch my videos) and serving profitable markets and designing custom made products for them.

Lets look at another niche. Go to Google Search and type in birds. What you see is 156,000,000 pages indexed. WOW! Talk about competition! You get types of birds, pet birds, bird pictures, bird songs, and millions of other pages. If I search for the niche how to build a bluebird house I see only 398,000 pages, which is still too much competition. If I search the niche of bluebird feeders I see 102,000 pages. Again too much competition. However, if I search the niche of bluebird suet cakes I see only 39,500 pages. Now there is a niche you could explore and service.
