With the ever growing popularity of Video games Nintendo became concerned with the lack of exercise our youth was experiencing. So they came out with the Action Set for the original NES Nintendo....which included the Power Pad.  It is a pad that lays on the floor and is pressure sensitive.  The gamer (in stocking feet) uses red and blue circles on the pad as a unique controller.  It can actually be used by two at one time allowing for competitive racing.  Now I have sold several of these here on eBay and as usual have tested them here at home...and I can tell you my two children LOVE it!  They always look forward to playing with it and...well...slept quite well that night...LOL!  It has always been my belief that the Power Pad is so much more fun with a variety of games.  Although Nintendo didn't manufacture too many games to use with the Power Pad there are several.

Here is a complete list (to the best of my knowledge)

*Track Meet (most common as it came with the game system)

*Dance Aerobics (my children enjoy this one. I like it because it is the best way to test the Power Pad to be sure that it is in full working order)

*Super Team Games (common...a two player game)

*Eggsplode/Shortorder (a double game cartridge...kind of hard to find but a WHOLE LOT OF FUN)

*Athletic World (very common...a five in one game cartridge)

*Street Cop (this is the most rare of the Power Pad games. I found it once and had the pleasure of playing it before selling it here on eBay.  You are the cop looking for the criminal. The coolest thing about this game...you use the Power Pad to walk and a regular controller to punch and pick up items.  Hope you can walk and chew gum at the same time!
