HOW TO GET HELP WHEN EBAY SAYS
THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO FOR YOU
Have you ever purchased an item that never arrived? You file a dispute in the dispute console area only to find out that the seller is Not A Registered User and you are unable to get your item you paid for, or find out any information about that seller?
MY PRESIDENT CLINTON DOLL :-(
When I first started on eBay over 8 years ago, I purchased a Clinton Doll from a Seller who looked like she did quite well on eBay. I won and paid for my Clinton doll, but never received him. I requested her contact information but when I called, she answered the phone and said no one lived there by that name and she hung up on me. Now this woman collected over $2,500.00 from us buyers on eBay and never gave anyone their item! I was quite ticked off and asked for help from eBay, but for some reason that I am unable to recall now, eBay said they were unable to help me.
The best move I made, was to contact the Attorney General of that state. The Attorney General's office went knocking at her door and MADE HER PAY ALL OF US BACK THE MONEY SHE TOOK FROM US! I was shocked to see that check arrive in the mail! I have no idea to this day why eBay does not suggest that buyers who do not receive their items file a complaint with the Attorney General's office of the state that the seller resides in. You would be surprised at what some Attorney General's Offices do when multiple complaints come to them.
To locate an Attorney General of a particular state, go to the National Association of Attorneys General website and locate the state where that seller lives and file a complaint.
DON'T SIT BACK AND LET SOMEONE RIP YOU OFF!
