I have been a seller on eBay for over 7 years. A few years back, I discovered selling Mystery Boxes.

This guide will contain my experiences as a seller & buyer of Mystery Auctions. I believe that people can learn from others' experiences and that is what I want to do. Share "MY" experiences with you.

• It has recently come to my attention that some sellers are claiming that their Mystery auctions will contain Tiffany, COACH, D&B and other expensive designer items. Please check into these sellers.Do you really think they are going to 'give away' as a "GIFT" a piece of Tiffany jewelry that costs $2,000, when they sell the 'Mystery' auction for $100? Come on! Check their feedback & the other items they are selling. Also do a search on eBay for similar items to compare. If they really had a Tiffany piece of jewelry that they can get 80% of the value in regular auction, why would they 'GIVE' it away? It is because these items are fakes & they could NOT sell them as 'real' in a regular auction. If it is too good to be true, it probably is not true.
• Please READ the item description and UNDERSTAND what it means. Many sellers will not be clear as to what they are selling. Some are a game of chance & you end up with NOTHING. Some will charge you $2.00 for a chance to win an XBOX and never give ANYONE an XBOX. Read the description to be clear of this.
• Check the seller's feedback <read between the lines>
