To wake up free of pain and see the lights and decorations of the tree. The "ooh's & ahh's will be of delight, not agonizing pain.

See the smile and twinkle in the eye of niece as she rips into a present and squeals with joy.

To be surrounded by family and friends, if this truly is my last Christmas I want to have vivid pictures in my mind to take with me.

To see that same group of family and friends enjoy themselves and prepare for a life without me. Each has families of their own and they can not dwell on my passing.

For someone to take the ramblings I have written and comprise them in some readable format so that grandchildren and other generations can know something about me.

To have a full appetite and be able to eat all that is cooked. Tamales & menudo are something I can only hope for right now. Maybe Christmas brings something different.

I want to drink cappucino, lots of it. Tea also. They clean out my system, and if I am going to heaven I do not want to ask where the restroom is as soon as I get there. I want to take care of my business here first.

Someone to ask what is MDS and why does it take a life without so much as a whisper.

If you are capable, become a blood donor. Those 15 minutes you give have kept me alive since April 10, 2008.

A phone call from Methodist or MD Anderson Hospital stating that I have been accepted as a patient in their bone marrow transplant program.
This may not be the time or place for this list, but than again I may be running short on the the time thing. I like it when people read my articles and post helpfulness votes, I hope you will. Have a blessed Holiday.
