I find I like to buy now and free shipping. Sometimes shipping charges are more than the item is worth. Also, one needs to watch for how old the item is, and be sure to ask, especially with computers, whether or not you can use it on dial-up. Some people do still use it, myself included. If it's not, one needs to be purchased or installed before you buy. That is the one thing I've noted, since I've purchased two. I find sellers are very willing to answer questions and return e-mails asap.
