There is no need to toss out your my first leap pad (or other leap pads for that matter) when the pen no longer works. Thankfully Leap Frog products offers replacement pens which are very easy to remove the broken one and install the new one. The pens are available right here on ebay.
Recycling is becoming more common and I am finding when something breaks I can often go to ebay and find a replacment part for most items. Often sellers are selling the working parts of thier broken, no longer needed items to save you time and money by being able to get affordable parts for your item. Luckily for us this week we were able to replace the leap pad pens on our broken system rather than replacing the whole thing.
Do be sure to check the sellers feedback ratings before buying to be sure you are buying from the most reputable seller even if the price might be a bit more it is worth it to know you are buying from someone you can trust.
