My Experience with Quixtar

*NOTE* This is my personal opinion of Quixtar and what they are about.

Quixtar is a side company of Amway.  It features Uplines, Dowlines, and Products that are much cheaper and of better quality than products sold in stores.  Plus it’s shipped directly to your door, no matter where you live.

With the Quixtar website you can buy products that you can’t get in stores, you don’t have to go shopping anymore, and every product you buy gets you points that convert into cash when you’ve obtained enough.

I originally got involved with Quixtar through a friend who said that they were making easy money; I decided to listen to the guys pitch.  I was told that for only 1 hour or less a week, I could make a 6-figure income.  This guy told me he was a lawyer from a nearby town and got involved in Quixtar because he didn’t want to be a lawyer forever.  He told me about the high-quality products that are better than the ones in stores and the fact that they will deliver to anywhere.

They also said how easy it is to build your downline, and how much money you can make when your downline has 100 people or more.   I was finally sold on the idea because they told me that they supplied quality supplements for lower than store prices.  I signed up, paid the $200 or so entrance fee and waited for my starters kit and catalogue to show up.

After receiving my start-up kit, and realizing that I might have been duped, I began to do some research.  I started talking to people that had been/were still involved in Quixtar and was shocked at what I heard.  People all over the United States and Canada were telling me how Quixtar/Amway had spoke of all the money they could make, and ended up talking them into going to seminars, buying tapes, books, videos, and dvds all of which were said to help get your Quixtar/Amway business to the next level.  People were actually losing their homes because they were spending too much money on Quixtar/Amway.

I wondered how much of this were true so I decided to stick it out for a while.  What happened over the next 5 months was what I expected, but hoped I was wrong about.  I received an email every week telling me about a new conference, or get together, or a new book, dvd, or website that will help me achieve Gold Member Status.  I also received emails every other day from my recruiter asking if I had found anybody new to join our “Team” I spent about $180 every single month on Quixtar products, because that’s one of the catches, you have to make your 20 points a month.

I’m not saying that the Quixtar system doesn’t work, I’m just saying that if you want it to work, you will have to take money out of peoples hands who actually need it.  People with families, who are looking for an easy way to make money, but don’t have the time to actually make Quixtar work.

My Main problem with Quixtar is this, the system works on the grounds that 95% of the people involved fail to make any money, but continue to buy the products.  If everybody succeeded at this, there would be no money to go around.  That’s why your recruiter is so hell-bent on getting you to sign up 2-3 new members a week.

There’s some back-info about my experience with Quixtar.  Even though there is potential to make money, I think that as human beings we shouldn’t sell hope to people who we don’t think can succeed… and that’s what Quixtar does.

My Financial Gain with Quixtar:
$100 Sign-up Fee
$200 Starters Pack
$180 x 8 Months
= $1740

1 Recruited Member Below Me (Not Recruited by Me)

= 1 Quixtar Paycheck for $8.79

I actually received emails from members of my team saying and I quote “Doesn’t it feel good to earn your very first paycheck, Think of this a step towards your new future!”

Wow… $8.79, only 113,765 more years of service and I’ll finally have that 6-figure income you told me about.

Thanks but no thanks.

I hope you’ve enjoyed reading this guide as much as I’ve enjoyed righting it.  If you did PLEASE VOTE.  And please check out my shortened version where I list everything I see wrong with the Quixtar/Amway system.

Thank you,

Randall, of Randalls-eBooks
