This is eBay member jettux. It is Feb. 17th, 2008 when I am writing this guide, or rather, a journal of my current struggle with a possibly fraudulent member, jojoeddie81. I put up my lens for sale (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130195314114), and jojoeddie81 was the winner: http://myworld.ebay.com/jojoeddie81/
He paid with PayPal, and I was about to send the lens off, when I got this e-mal from PayPal (names starred out):

We have conducted an investigation regarding a payment you received in your PayPal account. This investigation determined that those funds were fraudulent. Therefore we have completed a reversal of the payment and removed the funds from the following transaction from your account.
Transaction Date: Feb. 10, 2008 00:24:54 CST
Transaction Amount: $56.00 USD
Buyer's Email: ***@yahoo.com

It immediately put me on edge, and I wanted nothing to do with this user. I told him/her that I am not going to go through with the sale, and that I am reporting the problem to eBay. The person became very insistent, and tried to pay off a second time with a different PayPal account.
I complained to jojoeddie81 about his/her behavior and he/she became very angry. I couldn't refund the money through PayPal because the Deny option was disabled (I think it takes some time for PayPal to verify the payment before enabling the Deny option.), but the person left a negative feedback, claiming that I stole his/her money. Of course, the next morning, PayPal sent me another e-mail same as before, notifying me that the payment has been reversed.
The chain of feedbacks we threw back and forth now has become quiet ridiculous. In essence, I have an obnoxious non-paying buyer who has said in feedbacks that I am the liar and cheat, when his/her payments have been reversed by PayPal TWICE for using fraudulent funds.
I reported the problem to eBay and PayPal, but they have not been too much of a help. Now the sale is at a standstill, and I am considering reporting this incident to jojoeddie81's local police department. Even if he/she offers to pay with legitimate funds, I do not want to sell my lens to such a person.
As a bonus, I am including the feedbacks we have thrown back and forth. I will first put the feedback jojoeddie81 left for me and my response to it:
