Muu Muus - Lounge Dresses - Search Hints

Whatever you call them they are THE dress with the most flattering fit and comfortable style for any size woman from petite to supersize!  But they're especially wonderful and figure flattering for the plus size, super size, or expectant mom-to-be because they provide the most room/non-binding comfort where it's needed most - more room around the tummy/hip/butt area and hides things we may not like to show!  If you want and picture a dress shaped like an "A" with the bottom of the dress being the bottom of the "A" being flared out towards the hemline then please continue reading for some helpful hints when looking for them on eBay!

SEARCH TIPS:

So many words are used by bidders and sellers to basically describe the SAME style dress!  When searching for "Muu Muu" style dresses be sure to also use the following searches for descriptions/styles: MuuMuu (no space inbetween words),  Lounge, Lounger, Float, Trapeze, and A-Line.  Oh and unfortunately some poor seller will use the horrible spelling of the word and put "moo moo".  By searching eBay using each of the words above it will help you find and include as many of the same/similar style descriptions that are used to describe basically the same dress by different selllers - a PULLOVER FLARED short sleeve, casual or dressy dress.  Oh, I'd better include sometimes searching for Caftan although this style is more straight - not a flared style, and usually doesn't have defined sleeves.  But Caftans are comfy too, just not as flared. 

What makes Muu Muus - Float - Lounge Dresses so Wonderful/Comfortable?  Fit & Details!:

1. FLATTERING TO ALL FIGURE TYPES! The style itself says so much! It is a A-line/flared cut which means there is no waistband so it goes from the shoulders down to the hem in one smooth line! So if you have any flaws you'd like to hide this style dress is the one to get!
2. Easy On-Off! They are almost always a pullover style dress with no buttons, zippers, hooks or snaps so it's easy to simply toss it over you head and go out the door!
3. Dressy/Office to Casual/Shopping/Sleepwear! Depending on the material of the dress you purchase, this style of dress is dressy enough for going to work, church, a nice dinner out! It can also be casual enough to wear as a hostess dress when entertaining guests, as a swimsuit cover-up, going shopping, relaxing at home, lounging around in your favorite easy chair, and sometimes even as a nightgown for sleeping!
4. Features (Neckline/Sleeves/Hem)! This style of dress includes all kinds of neckline styles: v-neck, square neck, round neck and elasticized neck that can be worn off your shoulders! This style of dress includes styles with or without puffly sleeves. Puffy sleeves are wonderful for someone with larger upper arms! Different looks! Some do and some do not have a ruffle or flounce at the hemline! 
5. Prints & Fabrics! Lots to choose from! They may be in gorgeous and colorful hawaiian/tropical prints, solids, florals and other prints. The fabrics can be cotton, rayon or polyester (silky!). Rayon being more dressy, cotton more casual.

I mostly use LOUNGE Dress, TRAPEZE Dress, or FLOAT dress to describe my "muu muu" style dresses that I auction. I dislike the word muu muu because of how it is pronounced ("moo moo" like a cow) which is so unflattering when used in any form regarding clothing or women, especially plus size women/clothing.
