Many of us have friends or family who now own, or used to own, or always dreamed or desired . . . a specific year or model of the popular Ford Mustang I'll never forget the first Mustang I saw, a bright orange 1964 coupe. Wow! So the purpose of my blog here is to suggest that, for someone who thinks of the Mustang as an icon of a specific place and time . . . it can be really fun to have a rubber stamp of that car to use on letters, cards . . . . you can have as many Mustangs as you want . . . if you can "stamp them out" at will!!! These make great gifts, since most are priced around $10. What car part can you buy that costs so little? If you Ebay search "ford mustang rubber stamp" you will see at least 10 different cars from 1964 to the current New Mustang including the KR500. If you do not put Ford in the search, you will also get horse heads and WW2 fighter planes! My Ebay store, RubberMeetsTheRoad, features hundreds of collector car stamps that I make. But the Fords are my personal favorites, especially the woodies since I am a cabinetmaker full time, and a rubber stamp maker to make use of my scrap hardwood for blocks!!
