Sad times are here, yet another Paraiba source nears the end. The famed multi-colored find of Mozambique Paraiba Tourmaline has neared it end, the mine has been suffering a lack of production for just over a year and what has been coming out has been highly included material, nearly opague in content.

If you currently hold these stones continue to do so, the price is insane and will continue to drive forward to the sky's the limit margin. I make a call to a German vendor who told me that their pricing is now 1000.00 - 3000.00 per ct, this same vendor was selling just one year ago at prices of 100.00 - 300.00 per ct. The effects of this multi-colored copper bearing cuprian on the maket was widely recieved and gained in popularity due to the wide color choice that it was found in it's natural state. For the first time in the history of all the copper bearing paraiba's (eg. Brazilian, Nigerian & Mozambique) this material ranged in every color in the rainbow but the most popular was that of the famed Brazilian material with it's neon blue, aqua's and mints. However the coloring was still not as saturated as that of the brazilian material which produced a neon almost glow in the dark hue.

What does the future hold? HIGHER PRICES! A great thing for investors, not such a great thing for those still looking to collect.
