Your new wakeboard and bindings just arrived in the mail.  They look something like the image below.  Now what?
This guide will help you mount your wakeboard bindings and fins.

How you mount your bindings will depend on the bindings you purchase.  I'll cover the four main styles.

Liquid Force- has the F.A.S.T. or Pro Plate system.
Hyperlite- has The Claw w/ Claw Plate system.
O'Brien- has the Thumbscrew/Clamp Base Mounting system.
Thumb screws are still used by most brands in at least a couple of their models.

We've found that the majority of bindings that don't come with good instructions are the regular thumb screw mounted bindings.  The manufacturer's just assume that people know how...we all know what they say about assumptions.

In the binding box there should be a right and a left binding along with a packet of four thumb screws.  Set the bindings on the board before mounting and line up your stance.  If you don't know what your stance is we reccomend a little bit wider than shoulder width apart.  For angles you should run a slightly duck stance...both bindings angled out like the center picture below.  Stand behind your set up and make sure that stance feels comfortable.  Then fasten your bindings with the thumb screws.  It's important to always check the screws before each session.

Mounting your fins can be a tricky task.  We aren't surpised by how many put them on the wrong way.  The key, no matter how many fins your board needs, is always have the pointy part of the fin facing the center of the board and the tall round end facing away from the center.  Then just line up the holes on the board and fin, put on washer (if needed), and tighten.

Now you should be ready to ride!
