Hi, As a designer, manufacturer and seller of 2nd Nature Art Stamps 2nd Nature Arts Store , I am often asked by customers how to mount unmounted stamps. There are several ways to mount rubber stamps but this guide is going to cover using wood mounts.

1. Mounting stamps is easy with a couple of basic tools and materials.
You will need:
Unmounted rubber Stamp
Mounting foam with adhesive on both sides (mounting supplies)
Sharp scissors (if possible Kai Scissors are the best)
Xacto type knife with sharp blade
Wood mounting block that will fit your stamp (wood blocks)

2. First you will take your scissors and trim your rubber stamp as close as possible to the design without cutting into the design.
4. Using the knife trim the mounting foam to the edge of the rubber stamp. The mounting foam can actually be slightly larger than the stamp and this will ensure that the stamp edge is fully supported by the foam.
5. After you have finished trimming the mounting foam you can now remove the plastic film cover on the back side of the foam exposing the adhesive surface.
6.Place the stamp (exposed adhesive side) on the wood block and you are ready to use your stamp.
