Over the last ten years, I have built a myriad of SOHO and SBNs, both wired and wireless. In my experience, you cannot go wrong buying a Motorola PCI adapter. Motorola has been in existence for better than 50 years and their product quality shows in this WiFi adapter. The large antennae on this card is beneficial for broadcasting/receiving however, it can be a bit cumbersome for ergonomics and CPU placement. Be mindful not to break the antennae off of the card as it does protrude a bit more than competitor models. As with any card, antennae placement and adjustment make the effectiveness of a radio card. Place/adjust this one correctly and the quality will show.
