I got scammed in a manner I was not prepared for. Having my bike for sale I received a question through Ebay that contained a fake web link. The question read"I am so and so, I saw your bike for sale a couple of days ago, check it out " followed by this web link. When I clicked on the link a fake Ebay web page came up stating item not found. This is how he got control over my account. He closed two of my auctions and replaced them, using my info, with two second chance and buy it now offers. He added an e-mail address as well for anyone to make payment arrangements. As soon as I found out I closed the auction and informed Ebay. Do not answer through your personal email and do not respond to messages that contain web links in it, just delete them and inform the security center. Hope this helps, it really sucks when it happens to you.
