This is NOT just for Kids! yes the "educational part" may be simplified for youngsters 6 and under, but as a way cool nightlight in your room, It's awesome. I just leave it on FULL Moon mode. Esp. if you are a star gazer like me. My only problem with this product is..Batteries. It has a battery life saver timer goes off in 30 minutes. CooL, but I want mine on ALL night. that was the point. I am currently looking for a way to modify the unit to be an AC product with just the full Moon mode as a room light. But still this is pretty neat if you ask me! There's another "kids" product I also bought to help give my room that celestial outdoors feeling... see my write up on the Twilight Turtle!  you can get all these on EBAY for about a $30 each. If you love gazing at the moon, you ought to get this.
