The purpose of this guide is to help the "do-it-youself" crowd when it comes to picking a faucet brand.

I have been a plumber for about 15 yrs. I have installed many different brand name faucets, (Delta, price phister, kohler, ect...). The main and most important difference in Moen and the rest is Moen has a single cartridge. The others have washers, and springs that wear out in a short time. Moen all so has a lifetime warranty on their faucets!

I have installed many Moen faucets (many hundreds) and have only replaced a small handful of cartridges.
