Of all of the antivirus, antispam, anitspy packages I have tried over time, Live OneCare is the only one I have not had trouble with. All others I have tried, McAfee, Norton, BlackIce, Kaspersky; have slowed my systems to a crawl and heaven help you if you multi-app like me. I do 20 things at once and I run 2048 MB of RAM in my systems. But even with that much RAM, other antivirus suites slow my system. Live OneCare has not thus far. It let's me run as many applications as I want.

The ONLY problem I have run into was when I unwittingly uninstalled the Microsoft .Net 1.1 and 2.0 softwares from my system. Live OneCare IS a .Net software suite. I did not know that beforehand (I didn't actullay read the manual, who ever does?) and I really played hell getting things straightened out. That was MY fault and not the software.
